My name is Nayadeth Muniz. I am a fourth-year Health Education and Behavior (HEB) student who is passionate about children’s holistic health and individuals with special needs. After accomplishing my Bachelor’s of Science in Health Education, I plan to attend UF’s Accelerated Nursing Program to become a pediatric nurse. Majoring in Health Education and Behavior has provided me with the opportunity to diversify my knowledge on several health topics including the importance of patient health education, community awareness, the promotion of healthy lifestyle choices in the workplace, and how to design solutions for health concerns in several settings and populations. Through my experiences, I have received the proper tools, skills and strengths to become a leader in my field.
This portfolio imparts the opportunity to showcase some of my achievements and attainments while completing my academic and practical journey as an HEB major.
